Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday extended the heartiest congratulations to the Bangladesh cricket team for winning the three-match one day international (ODI) series against the West Indies.
In a felicitation message, the cricket-lover prime minister greeted all the players, coaches and officials of the national cricket team as well as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials concerned for beating West Indies.
Sheikh Hasina expressed the hope that the winning spree of the Bangladesh cricket team would continue in the future too.
Bangladesh beat the West Indies by seven wickets at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
The Tigers won the Bangabandhu Bangladesh vs West Indies Cricket Series with one math to play on January 25 in Chattogram.
After the ODI series, both teams will face off in a two-match Test series starting from February 3.
