He scored a career best of 136 to take the Tigers to 508 on Saturday.
Bangladesh also saw half-centuries from debutant Shadman Islam (76), captain Shakib Al Hasan (80) and Liton Das (53).
Kemar Roach, Devendra Bishoo, Jomel Warrican and captain Kraigg Brathwaite picked up a couple of wickets each for the West Indies, while Shermon Lewis and Roston Chase split the remaining two, according to a bdnews24 report.
Day 1
Debuting batsman Shadman Islam and captain Shakib Al Hasan took the Tigers to 259-5 by the end of play on Friday.
Shadman received some support from Soumya Sarkar (19), Mominul Haque (29) and Mohammad Mithun (29) before he was dismissed.
Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah closed out the day’s play on Friday.
