The second half saw Manchester United bring on Paul Pogba to have more command in the midfield. Yet, it was of no effect.
Salah completed his hat-trick in the 49th minute putting all hopes for a comeback to bed. Ronaldo found the back of the net but that too was ruled out by VAR.
Paul Pogba’s rash tackle on Naby Keita on the 60th minute saw himself get a red card and Keita stretchered off the field. The match ended with 5 yellow cards and 1 red all for Manchester United.
