Bangladesh have won the three-match one-day international (ODI) series against Afghanistan as the hosts defeated the tourists by 88 runs in the second match.

Batting first, Bangladesh’s Litton Das secured fifth ODI century that drove Bangladesh to 306 for 4 in their 50 overs in the second match in Chattogram, according to espncricinfo.com.

His record 202-run stand with Mushfiqur Rahim, highest for Bangladesh for the third wicket, formed the heart of the innings. It is only Bangladesh's fifth 200-plus stand in ODIs.

The Tigers also won the first ODI match against Afghanistan in the same venue on February 23.
