Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) appointed Charl Langeveldt of South Africa and Daniel Vettori of New Zealand as the Tigers’ new pace and spin bowling coaches respectively, till ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia October–November next year.
BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon disclosed this after the BCB board meeting in Mirpur Saturday evening, reports UNB.
Langeveldt replaces West Indies legend Courtney Walsh while New Zealand’s celebrated spinner Daniel Vettori replaces Sunil Joshi of India, whose contracts ran out with the completion of the World Cup in England and Wales in July.
Besides, the BCB also renewed contracts of national chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu and selector Habibul Bashar Sumon till the next year T20 World Cup in Australia.
