The UEFA Champions League resumes tonight after quite some time with some mouth-watering fixtures for football lovers all around the world.
Heavy-weights like Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Barcelona, Chelsea and Juventus- all have matches in tonight's fixtures.
Juventus-Chelsea
The match between Juventus and Chelsea is the most exciting fixture among tonight's matches.
After an unexpected defeat in the first leg, a Chelsea side that is quite stacked in every department would not take Juventus easily. Thomas Tuchel's side faces a problem similar to that of Juventus which is a lack of attacking prowess.
But with the fullbacks and midfielders often acting as unexpected goal-scoring sources, Chelsea will start the game as clear favourites.
Juventus, despite having a few problems as well as the X-factor they are missing after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, will start the game in high spirits due to the first leg result.
Dynamo Kyiv-Bayern
Bayern have not been their ruthless selves in the last couple of games due to a multitude of issues and today, with a long list of injuries as well as key men like Joshua Kimmich and Serge Gnabry quarantined, the Bavarians will have a tough test ahead.
Ballon d’Or favourite Robert Lewandowski is expected to keep his extraordinary goal-scoring form going on. Nonetheless, they are expected to win over Kyiv despite every odds.
Villarreal-Manchester United
It is the first Manchester United game after the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer which gives a lot of reasons for the fans to get excited about the fixture.
It will be pretty interesting to see how the interim manager Michael Carrick selects the team lineup for his first game with the horrendous defensive performance and lack of coordination being two of the main reasons behind the departure of Ole.
But Mr Champions League, Cristiano Ronaldo saving them time and time again, Manchester United are the favourite to win.
Barcelona-Benfica
Barcelona being in the same situation as Manchester United after sacking Ronald Koeman, are more optimistic to start a new era under club legend Xavi.
Xavi's first game in charge has seen Barcelona being a much youthful and rejuvenated side with Pedri, Gavi, Nico, Balde and a lot of other exciting young prospects performing quite well.
It is expected that Barca will win this game and redeem their defeat in the first leg to keep their Champions League dreams alive.
