The warm-up match between Bangladesh and Pakistan at the Sophia Garden in Cardiff was called off due to persistent rain on Sunday.
Match referee Andy Pycroft called off the match at 2pm local time without a single ball being bowled, reports UNB.
The circumstance was disappointing for both sides. Bangladesh badly needed to play the game to find out their best combination before the World Cup.
Pakistan, on the other hand, needed to play this match as they lost their first warm-up game against Afghanistan.
Before the World Cup begins on May 30, Bangladesh were supposed to play two warm-up matches - one against Pakistan, and the other against India at the same venue.
Tigers now have only a match to play before the tournament starts.
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and his men will take on India on May 28. Tigers will start their World Cup campaign on June 2 against South Africa.
Warm-up matches against two strong opponents would have been a perfect dress rehearsal for them.
