On the second day of the six-nation event at Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur yesterday, Uzbek gymnasts maintained their dominance with seven gold medals, while host Bangladesh won a bronze medal.
Bangladesh's Banafuly Chakma took bronze with an amazing 12.42 point score while Uzbekistan won gold and silver in the women's senior individual vault event, with Miroshnichenko Anastasiya and Jumabekova Gulnaz scoring 12.88 and 12.82 points respectively.
Earlier on Thursday, Bangladesh won its first medal in the competition as the men's junior team won bronze in the all-around team event.
