Bangladesh set a 128-run target for Afghanistan in their first match in the Asia Cup on Tuesday at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.
Skipper Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and decided to bat first in their first match in the tournament.
They scored 127 runs in 20 overs losing seven wickets.
