BB launches mobile app to deal with clients’ complaints

The Financial Integrity and Customer Services Department (FICSD) of Bangladesh Bank (BB) on Sunday launched a mobile application to ease the procedure of filing complaints of clients.

BB governor Fazle Kabir launched the app during the unveiling ceremony of FICSD's annual report for fiscal 2016-17 at ANM Hamidullah conference room at BB headquarters in the city.

From now, people can file complaints using the app alongside the existing system.

The report showed that FICSD received a total of 3,521 complaints during the period, of which 1,362 complaints over phone while 2,164 complaints in written.

All of the complaints have been settled, and 40.53 per cent of the complaints were related to general banking, reports BSS.

The report is available on BB's website. Besides, the mobile app dubbed "BB Complaints" has to be downloaded from google play store.
