A blast has gone off outside the office of the Save the Children aid agency in the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad on Wednesday, a provincial government spokesman said.
“There was a blast and the target was Save the Children,” said the spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani.
No casualties have been reported but a clash was going on at the scene, reports Reuters citing the spokesman.
Local news reports said suicide bombers and gunmen attacked the office in the PD3 neighbourhood of the Afghan city.
