WaveMaker, GroupM’s new billion-dollar revenue, media, content and technology agency created from the merger of MEC and Maxus, started business in Bangladesh.
Wavemaker Bangladesh, also a part of Asiatic 360, will be led by Morshed Alam, Managing Director, and Hasan Faruque, Director.
Aly Zaker, Group Chairman of Asiatic 360, Executive Vice President Sara Zaker, Iresh Zaker, Deputy Managing Director of the company and Morshed Alam, Managing Director of Wavemaker, were present at the programme.
Morshed Alam said, “Wavemaker reflects our drive to build on top of our foundational media capabilities to bring more content, technology and data solutions to media industry in service of our brands and partners growth.”
Wavemaker has offices in 90 countries with over 8,500 employees, according to a press release.
