An exclusive distributor showroom of Walton, named ‘Purbachal Shitalaksha Electronics’, was opened recently at Rupganj upazila in Narayanganj.
According to a press release, all kinds of Walton brand’s electronics, electrical, home and kitchen appliances, and digital devices are available in the newly-opened exclusive distributor showroom at Pitalganj of Bhaktabari area of the upazila.
On the occasion of the inauguration, customers are offered cash discounts of up to 10 per cent on all products, along with all other customer benefits provided by Walton.
The showroom was opened through a function in presence of Textiles and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi (Bir Protik), the Member of Parliament from Narayanganj-1 constituency. The minister inaugurated the exclusive showroom cutting ribbon as the chief guest.
Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC.'s Managing Director and CEO Golam Murshed joined the event as a special guest. Popular film actress Mousumi, actor Amin Khan, Bangladesh National Cricket Team’s all-rounder Mehedi Hasan Miraj and actor Mamnun Emon were also present as the invited guests.
Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC.'s Deputy Managing Directors Eva Rizwana Nilu and Amdadul Haque Sarker, Senior Executive Director Md. Firoj Alam, and Executive Director Shahiduzzaman Rana were also present, among others.

The owners announced that customers will get 5 to 10 per cent discounts on the purchase of all kinds of products from this showroom on the occasion of the inauguration.
Along with the discounts, customers will also get all the other benefits provided by the company.
A cultural programme was also held during the inauguration. Actress Anika Kabir Shokh, actor Nirab, singers Pothik Nobi, Chishti Baul and Atiq Dalim, and comedian Abu Hena Rony performed on the stage.
