Walton has begun exporting its ‘Made in Bangladesh’-tagged washing machines to India, according to the Bangladeshi electronics giant.
The inauguration ceremony, to this effect, took place at Walton Corporate Office in Dhaka city on Wednesday, it said in a press release on Thursday.
The first consignment of the washing machines is likely to be shipped out on Sunday next, the release said.
Walton has already been exporting a slew of electronics products to the neighbouring country, including refrigerator, air conditioner, television and some other home appliances.
