China has said the trade measures on items from steel to intellectual property taken by US administration under the guise national security were “bringing back to life the ghost of unilateralism”.
Chinese ambassador Zhang Xiangchen made the remarks while addressing the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on Monday after US envoy Dennis Shea slammed Beijing’s practices, reports Reuters.
The Chinese envoy called on the United States to work on WTO reform “through consultations on equal grounds”.
