The UBICO has sponsored an eye camp for Rohingya refugees in cooperation with the Resource Integration Centre (RIC) under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, says a statement.
Dr. S. M. Akbar, Managing Director of UBICO, handed over a cheque recently for the eye camp to Abul Haseeb Khan, Director of RIC.
Other senior officials from both the organisations were also present.
UBICO is a joint venture financial institution established by the governments of the UAE and Bangladesh to promote socio-economic development in the country.
