Trust Bank launches 't-cash'

Trust Bank has launched 't-cash', the complete gamut of Bank's Mobile Financial Services (MFS), to bring banked and unbanked citizens of the country under the wide umbrella of its value added services.

General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq, SBP, ndc, psc, Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army & Chairman, Trust Bank Limited graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and launched 't-cash' at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden, Dhaka on Sunday, said a statement.

Fazle Kabir, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, was present at the programme as the Special Guest. Maj Gen S M Matiur Rahman, afwc, psc, Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army & Vice Chairman of Trust Bank gave the welcome speech.

Among others, members of Board of Directors of Trust Bank, High officials from Bangladesh Army, Navy, Air Force, Bangladesh Bank, other Banks, and other invited guests were also present at the programme. The programme ended by vote of thanks from Faruq Mainuddin, Managing Director & CEO of Trust Bank Limited.

As per the approval from Bangladesh Bank, Trust Bank had launched Mobile Financial Service (MFS) named 'Trust Bank Mobile Money' on August 31, 2010 as the pioneer in banking industry to facilitate the banking services through its branches and accredited agents.

With the aim to facilitate banking services at the door steps of mass people and to bring them into wide range of MFS, Trust Bank has ventured to re-launch 'Trust Bank Mobile Money' with a new brand name as 't-cash' with a new brand logo from April 01, 2018.

The 't-cash' is a bank-led model which enables subscribers to quickly, easily, and securely avail financial services via their mobile phones through SMS, USSD and Internet. The 't-cash' is a savings account and thus general customers will get interest.

The 't-cash' offers a wide array of services which are: A/C Registration, Cash Deposit and Withdrawal at agents and TBL Branches, Person to Person fund transfer, Tuition and other fees payment of educational institutions, Recruitment Fees Collection of Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air force; Utility bills payments like air time recharge of all Telco's and BTCL, insurance premium collection of MetLife Alico, Meghna Life and Prime Life insurance Co. and electricity bill collection of DESCO, DPDC and WZPDC, WASA bills, passport fee collection, National ID correction or reissue fee collection, foreign remittance disbursement, salary disbursement, Online Merchant Payment, A/C Balance check, and A/C statement.

The bank said that launching of 't-cash' will establish strong footprint and create a dynamic brand image in the MFS market complying with all regulatory guidelines.
