Tourism expo kicks off in Ctg Jan 5

A three-day travel and tourism fair will be held in the port city, one of the tourist hubs in the country, in January next with the aim of boosting the country's tourism industry and showcasing Bangladesh to tourists from home and abroad.

Styled, Chittagong Travel Mart-2023 or CTM 2023, the exposition will take place at the Peninsula Chittagong Hotel on January 5-7, 2023.

Private sector carrier Air Astra will be the title sponsor of the 13th edition of the CTM, organised by The Bangladesh Monitor, a leading publication in the country on travel and tourism.

Different global and domestic airlines, national and international travel agents, tour operators, resorts, international chain of hotels, local hotels, motels, online travel agencies, tourism-related service providers, national and internal standard hospitals, other healthcare service providers and immigration solution providers will showcase their products and services in 30 stalls to be set up at the venue of the fair.

Visitors at the fair will enjoy big discounts on air tickets, tour packages, hotel rooms and other tourism products and services to be offered by the participants in the fair, according to the organisers.

The fair will remain open for all from 10am to 8pm every day.
