State Minister for the Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed is on an official visit to Malaysia aiming to boost the labour market there.
The Minister will hold a meeting with Malaysian Human Resources Minister M Kulasegaran on May 14, before moving on to visit the Sarawak State on May 15 and will meet the governor of the Sarawak State on May 16, reports UNB citing a press release on Sunday.
The minister is scheduled to hold a views-exchange meeting with the Bangladeshi expatriates in Malaysia on Sunday, May 12 and is going to visit the Bangladeshi High Commission in Malaysia on Monday (May 13).
Additional Secretary of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry Dr Ahmed Munirus Salehin and deputy secretary Abul Hossain were accompanied the minister.
He is expected to return home on May 17.
