Standard Bank Limited recently signed a participatory agreement with Bangladesh Bank (BB) on the JICA-assisted Foreign Direct Investment Promotion Project.
The private bank’s managing director Mamun-Ur-Rashid and the central bank’s general manager Md Rezaul Islam signed the deal on behalf of their respective side.
BB governor Fazle Kabir attended the agreement signing ceremony as the chief guest, according to a press release.
Among others, Chief Representative of JICA Bangladesh Office Takatoshi Nishikata, was present as a special guest.
