Standard Chartered Bangladesh has won two awards at the prestigious FinanceAsia 2018 Country Awards recently.
At the ceremony, the Bank was recognised by FinanceAsia as the Best International Bank and Best International Investment Bank in Bangladesh.
In addition to its strong performance and innovative products and services suite, the Bank was also recognised for its role in “helping finance the country’s massive infrastructure needs and acting as a facilitator for inbound and outbound flows.”
Naser Ezaz Bijoy, Chief Executive Officer, Standard Chartered Bangladesh received the award on behalf of the Bank, at The FinanceAsia Awards 2018 Gala ceremony held recently in Hong Kong.
This will be the ninth time the bank has been recognised as the Best International Bank in the country since 2009 by FinanceAsia.
While receiving the award, Naser Ezaz Bijoy, Chief Executive Officer, Standard Chartered Bangladesh said, “I am grateful to our clients, regulators and stakeholders for the strength of our relationships, which have allowed us to stand beside them as a trusted partner.
