Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. signed an agreement with UK-based BRAC Saajan Exchange Ltd. regarding remittance recently at the Corporate Head Office of SJIBL.
Under this agreement, Bangladeshi expatriates living in United Kingdom can now send their money safely and quickly to their beneficiaries by Electronic Fund Transfer through all of the branches of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd across Bangladesh.
The Managing Director & CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. Mr. M. Shahidul Islam and the Managing Director & CEO of BRAC Saajan Exchange Limited Mr. Abdus Salam signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Among others, the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Mr. M. Akhter Hossain, the Head of Public Relations Division & Bank Foundation Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha Shimu and the Head of International Division Mr. Mohammad Abdul Majid were also present in the signing programme.
