Social IslamiBank Limited (SIBL) has won the Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) Best Corporate Award 2016 under the private commercial bank (Islamic operation) category.
The SIBL received the ICMAB award at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka on Sunday.
Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, finance minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, was present at the award giving ceremony as the chief guest.
Quazi Osman Ali, managing director & CEO of SIBL, received the award from Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, according to a press release.
Professor Dr M Khairul Hossain, chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, and C Q K Mustaq Ahmed, chairman of Financial Reporting Council, joined the function as special guests.
Jamal Ahmed Chowdhury, FCMA, president of ICMAB, and distinguished director, CEO and senior executives of the financial and corporate organisations, also attended at the programme.
