One more ship from Russia loaded with wheat reached the sea port in Chattogram.
Sources said MV Veruda loaded with 49,400 tonnes of wheat came from Russia last week and berthed at the port's jetty at around 7 pm Wednesday.
Earlier, MV Magnum Fortune loaded with 52,500 tonnes of wheat came from Ukraine on November 10 last.
Abdul Quader, Controller of Food (Storage and movement), said that more than 100,000 tonnes of wheat already reached the port late last month from Russia. Now, another ship named MV Veruda loaded with 49,400 tonnes of wheat came from Russia and berthed at the port. Besides, wheat is also being imported from other countries.
