Samsung has launched Galaxy J8 smartphone, the latest addition in Samsung’s most popular range of J series smartphones in Bangladesh.
The Galaxy J8 continues to set the standard for the ultimate wide viewing experience with Samsung’s signature Infinity Display and superior 6 inch sAMOLED HD+ screen that goes beyond the bezel, featuring an impressive 18.5:9 screen ratio. Its design has been engineered to offer improved durability and comfortable grip, without compromising on style.
Samsung has also added Dolby ATMOS audio enhancement in these phones for the immersive audio listening experience on earphones, while listening music or watching movies and videos. With the App Pair and Chat over Video it is now possible for users to run several apps at the same time and keep on texting while watching videos, according to a statement.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 has a 16MP and 5MP dual rear camera setup. The 16MP camera comes with f/1.7 aperture and the 5MP with f/1.9 at the rear with autofocus, LED flash and live focus mode. The phone is ideal for low light photography as well as daylight captures. The 16-megapixel selfie camera at the phone’s front has f/1.9 aperture and adjustable LED flash. The front camera also comes with advanced modes. The Selfie Focus mode blurs the background, while the AR sticker gives different effects in the pictures. With group share option of J8’s Social Camera, it will be be possible to share image in real time without compressing size and resolution of the pictures taken. The Social Camera in Galaxy J8 will be available with an upcoming software update.
The phone uses 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor. It has 4GB of RAM, and 64GB memory that is expandable up to 256GB using a micro SD card. The phone also has a 3500 mAh battery which makes it extremely capable. The Galaxy J8 also comes with fingerprint sensor and secure folder system as security features. The phone also boasts a fantastic face recognition unlock feature.
