The leading digital services provider of the country, Robi, has come up with an innovative Iftar donation campaign to stand with the underprivileged people of society in the holy month of Ramadan.
The campaign has started on the first day of Ramadan which will continue for 30 days.
In association with Bidyanando Foundation and different orphanages of the country, Robi will provide Iftar to poor families and orphans for every specific amount of recharge by Robi and Airtel customers, according to a statement.
Customers will be able to contribute to the initiative through purchasing four specific recharge bundles.
For every purchase of Tk 307 and Tk 349 bundle by Robi subscribers, Robi will donate Tk 25 to the Bidyanondo Foundation under the initiative on behalf of the customers.
Similarly, for every purchase of Tk 298 and Tk 348 recharge bundle by Airtel subscribers, the company whe Tk 307 recharge bundle offers 500 minutes and 500 MB data; while the Tk 349 recharge offers 8 GB data for Robi customers.
The Tk 298 recharge bundle offers 475 minutes and 2 GB data to Airtel users; while the Tk 348 recharge bundle offers 8GB data and 300 minutes talk time.
Commenting on the noble initiative, Robi’s Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed said, “We are very happy to have come up with a campaign that facilitates our customers to take part in a noble cause in the holy month of Ramadan. We are confident that our customers will avail the offer to stand by the underprivileged people of the country at the most glorified month in Islamic calendar.”
