Rainbow Paints, a paint brand of RFL Group, has introduced spray paint to the market for the first time in order to break the multinational company-ruled local market.
Despite a growing demand of the spray paint use, imported spray paint is mainly ruling the local market. Local manufacturer RFL, however, is eyeing to catch a major share with its new product.
RFL Rainbow Paints officials said unveiling the spray paint at an opening programme held at RFL office in the city’s Badda on Saturday.
There is a demand of 5.0 million spray paint cans yearly. And, the local market size of spray paint is about Tk 500 million which is expected to rise to Tk 1.0 billion in the next three years, according to the insiders.
RFL is eyeing to meet the 50 per cent of it soon, the manufacturer said at the event.
Rainbow Spray Paint in 400 ml cans are now available across the country at a maximum retail price of Tk 150 through Rainbow showrooms and authorised dealers.
Customers can purchase Rainbow Paints across the country through 280 outlets and authorized dealers across the country.
