RAJSHAHI: Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) has introduced 'mobile app' and 'internet banking' to bring dynamism into its banking services.
An inaugural function in this regard was held at Rajshahi Zila Parishad auditorium on Wednesday.
Presided over by Abdul Mannan, managing director of RAKUB, the ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah, secretary to the Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance, as the chief guest.
Chairman of RAKUB Raisul Alam Mondal, its Director and Divisional Commissioner of Rajshahi GSM Zafar Ullah, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank Rajshahi Jibon Krihsna Roy, and Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi Abdul Jalil attended the event as special guests.
RAKUB has already introduced Online Real Time Core Banking Solution in all its 383 branches including the head office and at the same time introduced BACPS and BAFTN, RTGS, A-Challan and SMS banking activities.
Through the introduction of mobile apps and internet banking services, RAKUB aims to reach the doorstep of common people.
