PKSF constructs 170,679 hygienic toilets in 42 districts

Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) with the support of the World Bank has constructed 1,70,679 hygienic latrines against a target of 1,70,000 in the rural areas under its Output-Based Aid Sanitation Microfinance Program.

It had the project implemented by its 21 PKSF associate organisations in 237 upazilas of 42 districts, according to official data.

A total of 8,50,000 village people have sanitarily benefitted from the scheme.

Begun on February 23, 2017, the project ended on June 30, 2018.
