CHATTOGRAM: PHP Automobiles Limited has launched its new car, Proton X-50.
Chairman of PHP Group Sufi Mohammed Mizanur Rahman attended the launching ceremony as the chief guest on the factory premises of PHP Automobiles Limited at Naya Bazar, Halishahar, in the port city on Saturday night.
Addressing the function, Sufi Mizanur Rahman said, "Bangabandhu gave us independence and now we are citizens of an independent country. PHP can do business in an independent country."
"PHP will serve the people and the country. We will try to provide the best products for our people."
Chaired by Managing Director of PHP Automobiles Limited Mohammed Akter Parvez, the event was also addressed by Professor Dr Mohammed Kaikobad, Chairman of ATN Bangla Dr Mahafuzur Rahman, Badli Shah Bin Abdul Hafij of Proton in Malaysia, Sayed Azhar Ali Nizami and Sayed Saifuddin Al Hasani Al Maijbhandari.
PHP Automobiles Ltd. began its journey in 2017.
At the programme, members of the PHP family also celebrated the 80th birthday of the PHP Group chairman by cutting a cake.
