Amari Dhaka has chalked out elaborate programmes to celebrate Pahela Boishakh, the first day of the Bengali New Year, with immense festivity.
There will be an assortment of colourful and effervescent events at the hotel to entertain guests and visitors with traditional food.
Amari’s signature restaurant Amaya Food Gallery and Cascade Lobby Lounge will bring special offerings for celebrating the occasion with cheer.
The restaurant will serve traditional delicacies alongside local culinary delights and food like fuchka, chotpoti, dahifuchka, mutton halim, jhalmuri etc.
To start off, Amaya Food Gallery will offer mouth-watering ‘Boishakhi Brunch’, a tantalising amalgamation of breakfast and lunch, to the guests to spice things up flaunting a rich Bengali line-up of dishes.
The Boishakhi Dinner buffet will feature cardinal Boishakhi dishes such as Padma IllishPolao, Deshi Murgi Roast, Masala Pomfret along with other dishes such as Ladka Khichuri, Khaashi Mezban, Doi Begun and a vast selection of Bengali and international items.
Additional cuisines from Japanese, Chinese and Thai origins will also be offered during the dinner buffet feast, said a media release received today (Thursday).
The Boishakhi Brunch will be available at Amaya from 11.30am to 4pm and Dinner buffet from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm on 13th and 14th April.
According to the restaurant authorities, the Brunch buffet package is priced at Tk 3500 and Dinner buffet at Tk 5000.
Amari has also planned a traditional Boishakhi Mela to be held at Cascade Lobby Lounge which will introduce more excitement to the spirit of Boishakh.
The fair will include exhilarating activities such as dhak dhol, bioscope show, fortune teller, bangle seller, face painter, mehedi art, and much more customary offerings at the hotel lobby.
Extravagant boishakhi themed decor will encircle all the happening outlets.
