The National Board of Revenue (NBR) is going to observe tax service month in a bid to facilitate taxpayers' return submission for the 2022-23 tax year.

Each of the income tax zones will provide services to the taxpayers like in the Income Tax Fair from November 1 to 30 this year, said a press release.

The NBR declared the month of November 'Tax service month' in 2020.

Thirty-one tax zones with a total of 649 tax circles will receive income tax returns of their respective taxpayers until November 30 in a festive environment, says the release.

Tax zone-4 Dhaka will set up return booths and help desks at Bangladesh Secretariat and Officers' Club in the first two weeks of November.

It will provide tax information services from November 20 to 24 at Planning Commission, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.

For Armed Forces, tax zone would provide tax return submission and tax information services at Sena Malancha of Dhaka Cantonment on November 9-10.

Taxpayers will be able to submit tax returns online too, the release adds.
