The government will address the provision on multiple taxation on multi-layer dividend of companies in the upcoming budget for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-19, said National Board of Revenue (NBR) chairman Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan on Sunday.
He said the NBR is working on this so that companies do not have to pay tax on same dividend income several times.
"We are trying to find out a formula to simplify it," Mosharraf said.
