National Geographic Channel presents SUPERFACTORIES is set to take the viewers inside the state-of-the-art Walton factory in Gazipur, Bangladesh, the local electronics giant has said in a press release.
The documentary on the Bangladeshi electronics and tech giant will be premiered at 8.30 PM (Bangladesh time), today (Saturday, February 26, 2022, giving viewers an insight into Walton’s manufacturing process and its success story. Walton is the first Bangladeshi company to be featured in National Geographic's SUPERFACTORIES series.
National Geographic is a documentary based commercial television channel. Its programs are broadcast in English with audio feeds dubbed in Bengali, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and other languages, featuring non-fiction, documentaries that involve nature, science, culture, and history. The subscribers of Bangladesh Cable Operator (Dish Connection) and DTH users can watch the channel.
The 44-minute long documentary will show Walton's journey and operations behind becoming the top brand in Bangladesh, informing viewers of how Walton has established Bangladesh as a hub of technology products through manufacturing, marketing and exporting of electronics and kitchen appliance products including mobile phones, laptops and even elevators.
The ongoing history of Walton's significant contributions to the electronics sectors will be showcased in the documentary. It will also show Walton's dream and plan to turn an agricultural country as a centre of electronics and technology products, branding the 'Made in Bangladesh' tagline.
'SUPERFACTORIES: Walton' will unveil the story behind the successful application of modern engineering, functioning and innovation that goes behind the making of Walton’s iconic product line. The documentary brings forth the inspiring journey of Walton as the pioneer in consumer electronic goods that has been making significant contributions to the world of electronic goods in the country.
The viewers will also get an overview about various steps and activities taken by Walton to ensure a conducive environment for future generations. Walton's dream journey towards becoming a global brand under the leadership of young generation will also be focused in the programme. The documentary highlights the brand’s promise to reach every home globally through their progressive technological muscle.

The 'SUPERFACTORIES: Walton' will be premiered in both SD and HD format of the National Geographic Channel. The documentary will be rebroadcast at 10.30 AM (Bangladesh time) on 6 March, 13 Match, 27 Match, 2 April and 3 April while 8.30 PM (Bangladesh time) on 12 Match and 19 March.
