A day-long micro entrepreneurs summit will be held today (Sunday) aiming to help promote the small local businesses.
Bangladesh Women and Youth Entrepreneurs Forum (BWYEF) is organising the event at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) in the city's Farmgate area marking its founding anniversary, a statement said.
Around two hundred micro entrepreneurs hailing from different parts of the country are expected to participate in the series of events including seminar.
Managing Director of SME Foundation Dr Md. Mofizur Rahman will attend a session to be held at 3.00pm as the chief guest, while UNDP Bangladesh Entrepreneurship Eco-System Program Specialist AKM Hafizullah Khan will attend as the special guest.
According to the organisers, BWYEF is providing information and other support to the budding entrepreneurs in collaboration with different public and private organisations.
