Mercantile Bank Training Institute (MBTI) recently organised a 3-day long workshop titled “SME Financing: Bangladesh Bank Guidelines and Appraisal of Credit Proposal”.
Heads of all 129 branches of the Bank participated in the workshop.
Md. Zakir Hossain, DMD & DCBO, and Adil Raihan, DMD & CSBO of the Bank were present on the occasion.
They emphasized Bangladesh Bank’s regulations for SME financing, refinance scheme for women entrepreneurs & agro-based products, and processing of SME loan proposals. Javed Tariq, the principal of MBTI also spoke, among others, in the workshop, said a statement.
