Marcel Electronics has brought new models of various sorts of home appliances to meet the extra demands of the imminent winter season.
Marcel, one of the leading electronics and electrical appliances manufacturers in Bangladesh, has set a target of selling out about 50 per cent higher products than the products sold in the last winter season.
Officials said the sales of home appliances have been jumped up by nearly 30 per cent in the period of January to October of 2017 compared to the sales of the same period in the previous year.
Mosharraf Hossain Razib, marketing head for the north zone of Marcel, said the sales of all products in the current year have been increased significantly.
The electronics company added new models of home appliances like rice cooker, iron, electric kettle, induction cooker and room heater to the existing product’s line for this winter, officials said.
The news products include 10 models of rice cooker; 5 models of blender; 4 models of iron, 3 models of electric kettle and room heater, and one model of induction cooker, says a press release.
Traders said that the demands of electronics home appliances have widely increased because of the improvement of power supply and people’s living standards following the increase of per capita income.
