LFB, BDF sign corporate deal

The Leaders Forum BD (LFB) and the Bangladesh Doctors Foundation (BDF) entered into a mutually agreed corporate covenant on Monday.

LFB founder and president AKM Roknuzzaman Khandker and BDF chairman Dr Md Shahed Rafi Pavel penned the deal at the LFB’s registered office at Gulshan North Club, Dhaka.

LFB vice-president Dr Halida Hanum Akter, secretary general Md Jahangir Hossain, treasurer NKA Mobin and BDF consultant (info technology) Md Abir Bin Azad, among others, witnessed the MoU-signing ceremony, according to a statement.

The instrument is aimed at fostering collaboration between the LFB and the BDF to obtain leadership as well as communication skills training and other forms of partnership by the LFB for BDF members at its registered office in the capital’s Gulshan-02 area.

Programmes on offer include leadership training, communication skills development, office management and miscellany, and any sort of collaboration with the BDF.

The LFB, a Dhaka-based global group of corporate leaders registered with the state and run by a board of trustees, acts to maintain fraternity among leaders in multiple business and corporate sectors, and deliver the right skill set for leadership through mentorship.

The BDF, which represents the largest hub of dedicated and hard-working physicians in Bangladesh, works for doctors’ rights, better workplace and a healthier future for the nation. With a more than 75,000-strong member base, the BDF is based in Dhaka’s Shyamoli area.
