The Country Representative of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Yuji Ando met Major General SM Salahuddin Islam, executive chairman of BEPZA at the latter’s office on Tuesday, says a press release.
They discussed different issues related to Japanese investment in the EPZs including the impact of COVID-19 on Japanese companies in Bangladesh.
BEPZA executive chairman sought cooperation of JETRO to attract more Japanese investment in the EPZs as well as in BEPZA Economic Zone.
General Manager (IP) of BEPZA Md Tanvir Hossain and Director of JETRO SM Shariful Alam were present at that time.
