Indian Jet Airways has declared a 10-day offer for Bangladeshi customers for rejoicing a full decade of operations in Bangladesh.
The customers can book tickets at 10 per cent discount on current fares.
They fixed special prices to 10 destinations – Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Amsterdam, London, Paris and Toronto.
Jet was the first privately-owned Indian carrier to offer direct air connections between Bangladesh and India, with its first flight 9W 274, leaving Kolkata for Dhaka for the first time on Dec 16, 2007.
Jet Airways Chairman Naresh Goyal said , “It is indeed a joyous and momentous occasion for us to celebrate 10 years of Jet Airways’ successful operations to Dhaka,”
“Air travel between Bangladesh and India has been growing at a steady pace and we’re happy that we have been able to further trade, tourism and people to people relationships between the two countries.”
Members of the JetPrivilege programme will also receive double the air miles for all bookings in that period.
“In ten years of operations, Jet Airways has flown over two million guests between Bangladesh and India,” said Jet Airways Bangladesh Country Manager Raj Kumar Bhattacharya.
