CHATTOGRAM: Jazeera Airways Limited, a Kuwaiti no-frills flier, formally launched flight operations on Chattogram-Kuwait route on Monday.
The private airline will fly from Shah Amanat International Airport three days a week.
It hosted an inaugural function at Radisson Blu in the port city in the morning to launch the flight.
Jazeera Airways vice-president Bharathan Rabindran and Ahamed Yousuf of Galaxy Bangladesh spoke at the event.
They said Jazeera would operate flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Each flight will carry a total of 174 passengers.
Flights from Chattogram start at 10:00 am while those from Kuwait at 12:35 am on scheduled days.
Jazeera began its life in 2004 and commenced flights on Dhaka-Kuwait route from 2020.
