Islami Bank Foundation (IBF), subsidiary organisation of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL), has organised a discussion and hosted an Iftar honouring its doctors and consultants in a city hotel.
Professor Md Nazmul Hassan, Ph.D, chairman of the IBBL, was present at the programme as chief guest held on Wednesday, said a media release.
Shamim Mohammad Afzal, director of the bank, Chairman of Islami Bank Foundation and Director General of Islamic Foundation, Bangladesh presided over the programme.
Prof. Dr. Qazi Shahidul Alam, Director of the bank and Vice Chairman of the Islami Bank Foundation addressed the programme as special guest.
Moulana Mufti Md. Mizanur Rahman, Acting Khatib, Baitul Mokarram Jatiyo Masjid was present as chief discussant of the discussion titled ‘Significance of Ramadan’.
Golam Hafiz Ahmed, Executive Director of the foundation addressed welcome speech where Directors, Md. Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of Islami Bank, Doctors, Consultants of five hospitals of the foundation located in Dhaka City along with social elites attended the event.
