The Certificate Awarding Ceremony of an international training programme on ‘Risk-Based Internal Audit’ for the Nepalese bank executives was held at Bangladesh Bank auditorium on January 24.
The Certificate Awarding Ceremony was organised by Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM).
Fazle Kabir, Chairman of the BIBM Governing Board and Governor, Bangladesh Bank was present at the event as Chief Guest.
A total number of 23 Nepalease bankers received certificates in the programme.
Governor of the Bangladesh Bank thanked BIBM and BIFN for the joint efforts and asked both the institutions to collaborate in future as well.
Director General (Current Charge) of BIBM, Dr Shah Md Ahsan Habib, Managing Director of BFIN, Dr Binod Atrey, Ruby Bhattaroy of BFIN, high officials of Bangladesh Bank and course coordinators also spoke at the programme, a statement said.
