ICMAB holds seminar on “sustainability reporting towards achieving SDGs”

 The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) arranged a day-long seminar on “sustainability reporting towards achieving SDGs” at ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium, Dhaka on Friday, said a statement.

 

Mr. C. Q. K. Mustaq Ahmed, Chairman, Financial Reporting Council (FRC) and Mr. Md. Eunusur Rahman, Senior Secretary, Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance attended as Chief Guests in the inaugural session and technical & plenary session respectively in the seminar.

Dr. Aditi Haldar,Director-GRI South Asia and Ms. Rubina Sen, Senior Coordinator, GRI South Asia presented papers as resource persons.

 

Mr. Mohammed Salim, President of ICMAB presided over the programme.

Mr. Md. Kausar Alam, Vice-Chairman, Seminar & Conference Committee delivered the welcome speech while Mr. Md. Abdur Rahman Khan, Secretary, ICMAB offered vote of thanks.

 

Mr. Arif Khan CEO & Managing Director, IDLC Finance Ltd. was present as moderator in Plenary Session.

Prof. Dr. Swapan Kumar Bala, Commissioner, Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission, Professor Dr. Md. Salim Uddin, Chairman, House Building Finance Corporation,Mr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Business Officer, Prime Bank Ltd., Mr. Elias Ahmed, Chief Financial Officer, Marico Bangladesh Ltd. and Mr. Nepoleon Dewan, Senior Assistant Chief, General Economics Division (GED), Planning Commission, Ministry of Planning were present as Panelists.
