Bogra Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has recently arranged a discussion session titled ‘Compliance of Shariah in the Banking Operations’ and client get-together at a local convention centre.
Md Zillur Rahman, Chairman, Audit Committee of the Bank attended the programme held on Saturday as chief guest while Moulana Mohiuddin Rabbani, Member of the Shariah Supervisory Committee was the chief discussant.
The function was presided over by Md Motiar Rahman, Executive Vice President and Head of IBBL Bogra Zone, said a press release on Tuesday.
Md Shamsul Huda, Executive Vice President of the bank and Tahera Rahman, businessperson and social organiser were present at the programme as special guests.
Speakers on the occasion discussed the duties and responsibilities of bankers and clients for the compliance of Shariah.
Businesspersons and employees of the bank were also present, among others, in the function.
