HSBC Bangladesh and HSBC Canada jointly launched a special series cultural programme, ‘Dekhi Banglar Mukh’ on Canada's NRB TV intending to create a strong attachment with the clients.
According to a press release, the first episode of this series programme was aired in late August. Rabindranath Tagore was the theme of the first episode and the title of the episode was ‘Amar Rabindranath’.
The episode featured prominent recitalist Bhaswar Bandyopadhyay and three talented singers, Aditi Mohsin, Shahid Khondkar Tuku and Dr Mamtaz Mamta. Subrata Kumar Das, a prominent researcher and writer, moderated the episode.
HSBC Canada’s Head of International Segments, Customer Growth and Partnerships, Wealth and Personal Banking Sandip K Chaudhury; and HSBC Bangladesh’s Country Head of Wealth and Personal Banking Tanmi Haque were also present.
Tanmi Haque said non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) in Canada are advancing the ties between Bangladesh and Canada.
Describing Canada as a culturally-diverse country, Tanmi Haque thanked the NRB community on behalf of HSBC for nurturing Bengali culture and presenting it to people of other countries and other cultures.
