President Md Abdul Hamid on Thursday asked Turkish investors to establish a 'Turkish Industrial Zone' in Bangladesh for bilateral benefit.
The President came up with the remark when a seven-member Turkish business delegation, led by Turkish Ambassador Devrim Öztürk, paid a courtesy call on him at Bangabhaban.
President's Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin briefed reporters after the meeting, reports UNB.
Abdul Hamid said Bangladesh is now one of the best places for foreign investment.
Turkish investors can establish a 'Turkish Industrial Zone' in Bangladesh and both Bangladesh and Turkey can benefit from it, he said.
The President also said investors of both the countries can set up investment areas in Bangladesh by discussing investment prospects.
The Turkish delegation apprised the President of possibilities of Turkey investment in Bangladesh and expressed interest to invest in different sectors.
