Grameenphone has been awarded 'Excellence in Automation-Bangladesh' at the UiPath Automation Excellence Awards 2020 for its continuous efforts towards bringing innovation to secure a digital future, says a press release received on Saturday.
This year, 37 winners across the 14 award categories were named at the UiPath Automation Excellence Awards 2020, in association with The Economic Times - an Indian business daily.
The awards aim to recognise organisations in South Asia, which adapt to automation while creating business impact through innovation and robotics process integration.
Grameenphone has received the recognition for implementing RPA (Robotic Process Automation) for routine and repetitive operational tasks while bringing a quick turnaround time through automation, added the release.

An expert panel of global adjudicators selected the winners from South Asia where Grameenphone became the lone telecom operator from Bangladesh to have received the recognition.
