A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between GPH Ispat Limited and Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) recently to facilitate industry-academia collaboration.
As per the MoU, the two organisations will work for facilitating long term research, academic knowledge sharing, students’ scholarships, fellowships, assistantships, internship and other industry-academia collaboration.
GPH Group Chairman and Managing Director of GPH Ispat Limited Mohammed Jahangir Alam and MIST’s Dean of Civil Engineering Faculty and Head of Civil Engineering Department Brig Gen Md. Wahidul Islam, SUP, ndc, psc, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides, according to a press release.
GPH Ispat Director Md. Abdul Ahad, Technical Advisor Engr. Madani M. Imtiaz Hossain, Technical Advisor Md. Musharraf Hussain, General Manager & Head of Marketing and Sales Mohammad Mamun Kabir, General Manager Md. Anamul Islam, distinguish professors, departmental heads, students of MIST were also present in the signing ceremony among others.
