A four-day trade show titled 'Thailand Week 2018' will begin on Monday at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.
The 16th edition of the event will be organised aiming to help expand trade relations between Bangladesh and Thailand.
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Thailand and Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka will jointly host the event in two phases.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed will inaugurate the event as the chief guest at Grand Ballroom of the Sonargaon Hotel.
A total of 45 companies from Thailand and 33 Bangladeshi companies which import Thai products and work as the agent of Thai companies will participate in the fair, according to a UNB report.
Products such as auto parts, industrial equipment and hardware, tropical fresh fruit, food, beverage, house ware, gift and decorative items, stationery, baby products, garment, jewellery, footwear, health and beauty products will be exhibited in the fair.
Besides, colourful Thai cultural show by artists from Thailand including the fashion show, live music will be held every day to entertain the visitors.
The exhibition will remain open to both the traders and the public.
